I graduated from Newark School of Violin Making in 1984. Having gained much experience in workshops throughout Europe, I opened my own shop in Winchester and enjoyed a successful business restoring, buying and selling violins, violas, cellos and bows. After just over 24 years in Winchester my wife and I wishing to move closer to our family, have now moved to Solihull in the West Midlands. I have a large workshop in the garden from where I am able to continue my business and have more time to work at the bench as I no longer have the ties of a shop.
