He studied violinmaking by Prof. TAN Shuzhen in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 80’s last century he worked by Geigenbaumeister Winfried Michael in Munich, Germany. Since then he is teaching in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music for Violinmaking. He held the post of principal of the Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, vise president of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

Prof.HUA is the vise chairman of the Violinmaker association of China，Honor Chairman of Musical instrument Guild of Shanghai, Member of EILA.
